HMSPANEL v3.5.6 Release MARCH 22, 2010

HMSPANEL v3.5.6 has been released.

This release focuses on the front-end, client, and admin templates.

IMPROVEMENTS:

Major template clean up and revisions. Form field styles have been moved to stylesheet, general template clean-up, /customers is now /cp, all traces of "client" have been renamed to "account" including all pages and minor template bug fixes have been implemented.

HMSPANEL v3.5.5 Release MARCH 15, 2010

HMSPANEL v3.5.5 has been released.

This release focuses on some bug fixes found with the v3.5.1 and v3.5.2 versions.

BUG FIXES:

Activate CRT for SSL – resolved: Critical issue. It appeared as if SSL certificates were not being activated properly. HMSPANEL would activate, VirtualHost configuration seemed fine but Apache did not restart and/or start manually, causing Apache to crash.

Client Control Panel File Manager – resolved: When updating permissions on a file or directory, add user, group & others checkboxes. As checked, files will populate permissions.

MySQL Database User Creation – resolved: When using the add user feature under database management, users are not actually being created. The add database feature that automatically creates a user works fine, it’’s only the add individual user option that had problems.

Client Control Panel – Jump to Plan Feature – resolved: The Jump to plan feature was not working for secondary plans. For some reason secondary plans would show the domains from the first plan only.

Payment Methods – resolved: Ability to toggle on/off status for four default payment methods.

Server Duplication – resolved: When duplicating a server, copy of all variables including zone templates has been resolved. This was not working before. The only variables that should not be copied is the API URL, username & password.

Client Control Panel Database Management – resolved: Added column under active users to show MySQL database user permissions for a specific database the user is assigned to.

Shared Plan Email Limits – resolved: Combined POP user & account limit when editing a shared plan and setting the plan limit.

Delete Invoices Administration Area – resolved: When deleting an invoice from the administration area, invoice does not appear as removed until reloading the page.

License Key Variable – resolved: Ability to update license_key variable in configuration file from the administration area dash board under the version details.

Administration Area Users – resolved: Ability to set blocked IP threshold limit by hours. Ability to add IP addresses to whitelist and/or blacklist.

Switch Servers – resolved: Switch server feature on edit server page and others not passing variable.

HMSPANEL v3.5.4 Release MARCH 7, 2010

HMSPANEL v3.5.4 has been released.

This release focuses on the addition of Tool Tips on the administration area and the creation of our new product “HMSPANEL CS”. This will leave two products: “HMSPANEL” & “HMSPANEL CS”. “HMSPANEL” (without the billing system) is expected to be released late April, 2010.

NEW PRODUCTS:

Our newest product “HMSPANEL” will come without a billing system and will be a control panel and server manager panel only. The billing system will be included in our “HMSPANEL CS” product only. This will give more flexibilty to those who already have a third party billing solution in place.

IMPROVEMENTS:

1) Tool Tips have been added to the administration area of HMSPANEL. Below you will find the pages were these have been added:

2) a) /usr/local/apache/sites/client{num} will no longer be used. Instead, /usr/local/apache/sites/plan{num} will be used accordingly.
b) All of the default paths, etc., will reflect the “plan{num}” as well. This includes the FTP user that is created. There will not be anymore references to “client_{num}”, instead it is now “plan_{num}” so everything matches accordingly.
c) All of the master installers are completed with these changes.
d) All of the secondary installers are completed with these changes.

HMSPANEL v3.5.3 Release FEBRUARY 17, 2010

HMSPANEL v3.5.3 has been released.

This release focuses on installation processes, bug fixes, front-end changes, template work, and added tool-tip help icons across numerous control panel pages.

With many bug fixes and improvements HMSPANEL becomes more stable and improved. We recommend the upgrade to v3.5.3 to everyone.

NEW FEATURES:

1. Updated the plan editor/creator. This Ajax pop-up was a large window that would appear when adding or updating hosting plans that took most of the screen when displayed. This has now been converted to a full .css based template where fields have been organized accordingly so that they appear in their proper places when editing or adding plans.

2. New PHP installers have been created for all supported Linux distributions. Overall aesthetics have been updated. More specifically when the installer asks questions, they now show the answers to confirm the entered information and the closing portion of the installers will be more “clear”. Installers have been divided into more visible areas which will help with the overall HMSPANEL installation experience.

3. PHP installers were also updated for the secondary server installers to match the master server installers. They also now show the answers to confirm the entered information and the closing portion of the installers will be more “clear”.

4. phpMyAdmin was also updated to the latest version on the secondary servers.

5. Fixed bug with the Wordpress software installer:

IMPROVEMENTS:

1. Updated installers to present the users with more intuitive and descriptive questions to help provide more accurate information when installing HMSPANEL.

2. Numerous Ajax pop-ups have been replaced with full view .css enriched pages where fields can be seen easily.

3. Ajax pop-ups that controlled E-Mail templates and front-end template code that appeared to be too big have been replaced with .css based template pages. These have been organized accordingly so fields are in the proper places when editing or adding.

4. The webmail page has been modified and cleaned up overall to blend in with the color scheme of the control panel.

5. Tool-Tips have been added across the control panel pages to help answer any questions for a given control panel function/tool.

6. Updated the phpMyAdmin version to the most stable release.

7. Adjusted ajax pop up window sizes to support very hi and low resolution computer screens.

HMSPANEL v3.5.2 Release November 26, 2009

HMSPANEL v3.5.2 has been released. 

We are approaching the end of the year and we have released a new version. The latest release has arrived with numerous improvements. this release also includes important features, considerable template improvements, and bug fixes. Whether you have tried our demo hosting panel license in the past, are a potential customer or an existing customer we recommend you get on board with v3.5.2.

NEW FEATURES:

1) Added the RoundCube web mail client.

2) Added a support ticketing system integrated with the control panel. Tickets will be tracked by user identification and name for easier admin tracking. Notification will be made to the admin when new tickets are submitted and users will be notified when replies are made by the admin and vice versa.

3) Added a robust E-Mail anti-spam solution that can be activated for each E-Mail account. Spam can be filtered by sender E-Mail address, domain, and keywords. E-Mail scanning will happen at the user mail account level so filtering will occur no matter what web mail client is used.

4) Added a quick browse drop down menu on the dashboard of all customer accounts for quick control panel access on any given domain.

5) Updated software installers and added some newly requested packages. Updated software list:

HMSPANEL v3.5.1 Release & Website Upgrades September 26, 2009

HMSPANEL v3.5.1 has been released. 

We have taken another big step forward to bring new features and services to our customers:

1) A new, completely re-designed website is published

New website, new look, new objectives. We have completely re-designed our website with hopes of enhancing our visitor's experience.

2) Our best control panel version is released (v3.5.1)

Better control panel browsing, new template system, new DNS features, New SSL creation options, all add up to a great overall release.

3) Network infrastructure upgrade

Better servers, more robust power distribution in our server racks, new network gear, it all makes up for a better infrastructure.

4) New customer portal is implemented

We have installed a new customer area with a simple to use interface. Customers can easily purchase, renew, and upgrade licenses.

5) New licensing system with portal integration is deployed

After much work and preparation we have completed the deployment of these areas. Be assured that there will be many more to come.

6) New optimized installers with full 64-bit support

Our control panel installers have been re-created and re-packaged to support the latest operating system releases. HMSPANEL now offers full 64-bit CentOS 5.x and Fedora Core 10.x, 11.x support.

The New Release of HMSPANEL v3.5 July 21, 2009

HMSPANEL v3.5 is expected to be released August of 2009.

HMSPANEL simplifies the control panel installers May 27, 2009

The HMSPANEL installation process is easier than ever. 

HMSPANEL has been %100 tested in CentOS 5.3, Fedora Core 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 platforms.  The installers have also been redesigned and compacted to 4 simple commands making the HMSPANEL installation process easier than ever. 

HMSPANEL implements a new customer support system May 19, 2009

HMSPANEL publishes a new customer support portal for our customers. 

In our efforts to maximize our customer support to existing and new customers, we have deployed a new support suite.  The suite includes a new secure checkout system for all new orders.  A member login interface for customers to easily keep track of all of their licenses, invoices, transaction history, correspondence archive, and more neat features.  It also includes a way for a customer to submit tickets which can be kept in their profile for future reference.  This is just another step forward that HMSPANEL is taking towards a better customer experience.

HMSPANEL releases version 3.4.6 with many more new features and fixes to bugs.  A change log will be included with the new package.

HMSPANEL Supports Domain Reselling

HMSPANEL releases it's latest version, which allows for domain reselling. Your customers will never leave your site or see another company's branding using the domain reselling feature. HMSPANEL currently supports eNom and OnlineNIC resellers. Your clients can register domain names, update their name servers, modify contact information and renew their domains.
