User Features

Domain Management

Supports domains & sub-domains. Users have the ability to add a domain or sub-domain to an IP address of their choice and also have the ability to add the domain or sub-domain to a certain set of name servers. HMSPANEL supports any number of name servers.

Additionally the IP address the domain name is setup on can be changed at anytime, you can also map the domain to a new "DocumentRoot", have access to the "error.log" & "access.log" file anytime, & more.

E-Mail Management

Users have the ability to add standard email addresses, forwarders, & both catch-all addresses for standard email addresses & forwarders. Filters allow users to block mail for a particular E-Mail address by keyword, domain, sender, etc..

Auto-responders are also supported.

Users can POP their email accounts using Outlook Express or their selected email client and will have access to SquirrelMail via the control panel interface.

Domain Statistics

Currently HMSPANEL includs AWStats & Webalizer statistics. For every domain and/or sub-domain you add AWstats & Webalizer will be available.

Both the AWStats & Webalizer directories will be password protected. HMSPANEL features an AJAX "Quick Login" feature for easy access via the control panel.

Webalizer & AWStats settings can be enabled/disabled from the administration section.

Backup Features

At anytime you can backup make a full back-up of your domain(s) and choose to download them via the file manager or download them via FTP.

Additionally you can also restore a site backup via the file manager console.

Database Management

Users can add any number of MySQL databases. The database passwords can be changed at anytime & users also have the ability to manage their databases via the phpMyAdmin interface accessible via the control panel interface.

FTP Management

Users have the ability to have a "master" FTP account, which is one single FTP login to access all of the domains within your account.

Users also have the ability to create domain specific FTP accounts, which will only grant a user access to a specific domain. Additionally users can create directory FTP accounts, which will give a user access to a specific directory within a domain name as well.

Cron Management

Users can schedule cron jobs directly from the control panel interface. Select all of the time specific variables via the convenient menus and enter the path to the file you want to run.

Protected Directory Management

Users have the ability to create a directory & password protect it. Any number of username & password combinations can be added to a specific directory and multiple directories can be created.

DNS (zone) Management

Powerful domain record manager where users have the ability to modify a domain's zone file. The CNAME record, A record & MX records can be modified as well as others. Sub-domain records can also be added via the dns management console if users need a sub-domain to point to an IP address off the current server. Additionally a user can add a "wildcard" so all sub-domains for a domain would point to a specific IP address.

.Htaccess Management & Error Pages

HMSPANEL features a robust .htaccess tool with the following features. All features are directory specific so the below features apply to all directories within a domain. So you can add a rule to your domain.com/public directory and also add a specific rule to your domain.com/public/directory directory.

1. Error Handling: Users can setup 401, 403, 404 & 500 redirect rules.
   
   
2. IP/Domain Banning: Users can block any number of IP addresses and/or domain names from accessing their Website.
   
   
3. File and Directory Redirection: Users can redirect a specific file and/or folder to a URL of their choice. Select from a convenient dynamic menu of your files and/or folders.
   
   
4. Hotlink Protection: Users can protect their domain from hot-linking. Grant any number of domains permission to hotlink from your domain, blank referrer control, image url redirection control, & set protected file types.
   
   
5. Directory Browsing: Users can enable/disable directory browsing for selected directories.

The htaccess console is very robust and dynamic making use of AJAX technology. It is a very flexible system.

Users also have the ability to modify the entire htaccess file manually via the control panel interface. Once a user manually edits the htaccess file the file will become locked from changes made within the control panel interface.

We have added software applications based on user requests. Most third-party software applications can be incorporated into HMSPANEL within one-week if a user requests it and we feel it justifies the work involved.

File Manager

HMSPANEL features a robust AJAX based file management console. This acts as an alternative to your local FTP program.

A full directory listing is available with the ability to download files from file manager, rename specific files and/or folders, create folders, change permissions on selected files and/or folders, add folders, select a number of specific files and/or folders and archive them (tar.gz), restore a backup of a Website, upload files, & more.

SSL Management

Users can create a CSR and install an SSL certificate from the ssl management console. Business & personal CSR's can be generated and business & personal SSL certificates (CRT's) can be installed.

Bandwidth Usage

Users can view full statistical information such as bandwidth usage, disk space usage, MySQL database disk usage, FTP transfer usage, mail use & more.

Date back & view usage from any date range.

Bandwidth usage is displayed both text based and graph based. Per GB/MB statistics as well as *bit statistics are available.

The administration section features all of the above control panel features plus the following:

Domain Management

Add custom code to a domains VirtualHost configuration file, modify the zone file by hand, & change a domains name servers.

IP Allocation

Allocate any number of IP addresses to a specific account with ease. Designate 1 IP address as the "shared" IP address, which is allocated to all accounts setup. Or allocate IP addresses from the "IP Pool". Once an IP address is allocated to an account it is removed from the pool so it cannot be used by any other accounts.

Zone Allocation

Create & allocate any number of name server templates and allocate them to a specific account. HMSPANEL supports standard "shared" name servers and custom name servers, which are exclusive to specific accounts.

Restart Services

Features include restarting the FTP server, Apache web server, MySQL server, SendMail, Dovecot, and all other related services.

DNS Control

Features include true NS1 & NS2 support. Any server in your "network" can be labeled the NS1 & NS2 servers.

Additionally any number of name servers can be added to HMSPANEL and then allocated to clients exclusively.

Server Specifications

Features include apache processes, total bandwidth used, total disk space used, full hard drive statistics, CPU information & usage, load data, operating system information, full memory statistics, service monitoring display, & more.

All of the information is in both text and graph based format.

Server Monitoring

Monitor any number of servers in your network and be alerted via email & text messaging. Monitor services such as Apache, FTP, MySQL & also monitor items such as bandwidth & disk space. Should a hard drive fill up suddenly it is critical to be notified.

Bandwidth Usage Graphs

HMSPANEL monitors bandwidth in several different ways.

Bandwidth graphs are available, which display per *bit used. The graphs also convert to traffic per GB/MB and are broken down on a monthly average per Mbit, 95% breakdown as well as per GB/MB.

Both inbound & outbound traffic is monitored. The 5-minute average & monthly average graphs are available.

IP Assignment

A full listing of all IP addresses on the server and to which account & domain said IP addresses are allocated to and if they are being used by domain(s).

Server Config Files

Critical server files such as httpd.conf, vsftpd.conf, mime.types, sendmail.cf & much more can be modified via the HMSPANEL interface.

Change Passwords

Features include the ability to change passwords on the fly to specific user accounts.

Server Setup & Configuration

Full customizable server setup & settings. HMSPANEL is installed with default settings. If you wish to modify those settings you have the ability to do so.

You can modify the account folder locations, use custom VirtualHost configuration files, modify the MySQL root user password, bind IP addresses to the server, designate the servers shared IP address, add IP addresses to the IP address pool used for account IP allocation, create custom directories during domain additions via the control panel, enable/disable & customize AWStats & Webalizer, & so much more.

These features are 100% optional and included free of charge. There are MANY optional features, which are generally used for web hosting company owners.

Our system features a FULL billing system, and everything else you need.

1. Full client maintenance utilities including but not limited to storing clients personal information as well as billing information, email clients, & so much more.
   
   
2. Full blown billing system. HMSPANEL supports many gateways such as LinkPointCentral, AuthorizeNET, Echo, TrustCommerce, & more. It also supports third-party solutions such as Paypal, 2CO & WorldPay.
   
   
3. Full template-based system. Ability to modify all email templates, front-end templates (ordering system), as well as the client control panel templates.
   
   
4. Full financial management. Orders are placed, invoices are posted & emailed, orders are setup & billed, payments are posted. FULL overage billing system as well. Set limitations to plans that clients purchase and HMSPANEL will bill them the overage charges you specify including but not limited to bandwidth per Mbit, per GB & more.
   
   
5. The most robust plan maintenance (ordering) system on the market. Create & sell shared plans, dedicated plans (servers), or custom plan types of your choice. You can set plan limitations such as the number of domains, email addresses, bandwidth usage & more. All limitations are "soft" limitations meaning client accounts will NOT be suspended should they go over. They will simply be notified by email.
   
   Plans can be sold month-to-month or 3/6/9/12-month prepaid.
   
   Attach any number of extras & options to a plan. For example if a user wanted to add a hard drive to their dedicated server or bandwidth to their shared hosting plans, the possibilities are endless.
   
   
6. Domain registration module with support for eNom resellers.
   
   
7. Full front-end ordering system that is 100% controlled & customized by you. You can use our default "plan" pages to display & sell your hosting plans or you can create your own templates and simply hard-code the URL's to purchase said plan(s).
   
   You can also offer potential clients the ability to build their own plan and/or customize their plan.
   
   
8. Full control over settings such as invoice settings, signup page functions, & much more.
   
   
9. Real-time shared hosting plan setup. You have the ability to have shared hosting plans automatically setup during the ordering process as long as payment is received successfully. This feature only works with real-time payment methods such as credit card processing, Paypal, WorldPay or similar. This will not work with check orders or any other non real-time payment method.

11. Manage any number of servers from one interface. Once you purchase your single-server (single-user) license all of the above features are available to you on one server. Should you wish to make use of the additional features listed above (web-hosting companies in most cases), when you want to control other servers in your network you can do so by purchasing a second license of HMSPANEL and installing the API only on the new server. That server is fully controlled via HMSPANEL.
    
    For example on your servers page you would have 2 servers listed. One server might be a shared server in your network and the other might be a dedicated server you sold. You as the administrator have the ability to control both of those servers/accounts from the HMSPANEL interface.
    
    Additionally if your clients purchase more than 1 plan, it doesn't matter if it's 3 shared hosting plans spread across 3 different servers or 6 dedicated servers, they will be able to manage all control panels for each server from one single interface plus from that same interface manage their full account details such as billing, plan upgrading, additional service ordering & more.
